Koy came to us as an artist with a strong sense of identity and a sound that needed visuals to match. The name said it all — Koy is a play on koi, the Japanese fish that carries meaning across cultures: perseverance, transformation, good fortune. We took that thread and ran with it.
Through a detailed moodboard process and multiple design rounds, we developed a full brand identity built around that connection — a block logo, a script variation, a koi fish motif woven through the visual system, and a colour palette that felt as intentional as the name itself. Muted browns, faded greens and warm maroon tones. Timeless rather than trendy. A logo animation brought the brand to life across digital touchpoints.
Once the identity was locked, we moved straight into the EPK — a 10-page Electronic Press Kit that brought everything together: bio, press visuals, streams, riders and booking information, all presented in the new brand language.
Feb 2026 — Apr 2026 From first sketch to full identity. Built to book.
